Until recently, I had not seen the hit American fantasy drama Game of Thrones (GOT). By contrast, my boyfriend has watched the show four times! After months of telling me I had to ‘catch up with the rest of society’, we sat down to watch it together. My reaction? Frustration and disappointment.
Now, don’t get me wrong – I love GOT. I think it is a brilliantly scripted and cleverly depicted show which made me fall in love with many of its protagonists. However, in my opinion, the problem with the show is twofold:
